Helensburgh Leisure Centre
Opened in September 2022, Helensburgh Leisure Centre is situated right on the waterfront of the town. Boasting incredible views for you to appreciate while you workout the facility incorporates a gym; 2 swimming pools; a luxury health suite with steam room and sauna; two modern fitness studios; and a café and shop – all under one roof! The building has various accessible changing areas that are fully compliant with UK Changing Places regulations.

Whether you are going for a swim in our new swimming pools, working out in our 56 station state-of-the-art gym, taking part in one of our extremely popular fitness classes, bringing the kids along to swimming lessons or family fun session, or enjoying the fabulous new Pier Point café, you will now be able to enjoy the first two hours of parking completely free of charge. With 200 parking spaces, the new car park also offers visitors electric vehicle charging, a bus drop-off point, bike parking and a cycle repair station.

Inflatable Fun Session
Come along and enjoy the fun with our incredible brand new aquatic assault course. The 16m pool inflatable is designed for you and a friend to go head to head to reach the finish line. You’ll go over the jumps, under the hurdles, through the walls, around the statues, and down the slide! The inflatable will be set up in our new 25m pool with a maximum depth of 2m. Participants must be aged 8 – 14 years old and a competent swimmer*.
*water test may be requested by pool staff to ensure patron safety.
Family Swim
An open session for all to come along and practice your swimming skills in the safe environment of our Teaching Pool. Depth will be maintained at a constant 0.8m.
Fun Session
Fun for all the family in our fabulous new Teaching Pool. Using the new state of the art moveable pool floor, depth will be set at 0.8m. The water fountains will be on and the pool will be equipped with pool toys, soft ride-ons, diving aids and more.
Junior and Family Memberships
We have extended the age range for our family and junior memberships, increasing it to include those under 18.
14 – 17 year olds may use the gym at any time following an induction from our instructors and receipt of parent/guardian consent. 14 and 15 year olds cannot use any freeweights unless supervised by a parent or guardian but can used fixed weight machines and any CV equipment. There is no restrictions on what equipment can be used by 16 or 17 year olds.
Helensburgh Gym
Located on the first floor of the building, the gym offers a stunning view of the Clyde. Kitted out by world-leaders in gym equipment, Technogym, the gym has over 50 items of equipment including cardio apparatus, resistance machines, free-weights and a squat rack. The first floor has various accessible changing and shower areas that are fully compliant with UK Changing Places regulations.

Helensburgh Fitness Studios
Our modern fitness studios are situated on the first floor. With more space we have been able to increase our class capacity and expand the range of classes we are offering.
Our dedicated indoor cycling studio is kitted out with 40 top-of-the-range bikes from Technogym and we have increased the number of sessions available weekly so there is more opportunity for you to attend this popular class.
Classes are delivered by our fully qualified and knowledgeable instructors. With more space we are able to offer over 70 classes per week, including Legs, Bums & Tums, Kettlercise, Aquafit and Super 60s.
Swimming Pools
Main Pool: A 6 lane 25m x 12.5m pool with disabled access to the main pool through the use of a Poolpod lift.
Teaching pool: A 4 lane 16.65m x 8m pool with a variable depth floor. This floating floor can be adjusted as required for swimming lessons or aqua classes.
