TIDES music festival applications open

In recent years our charity liveArgyll has built a strong relationship with a range of local and national artists and creative practitioners. Many of our local musicians have also enjoyed increased exposure and profile by performing in our venues.

Following the success of the first TIDES music festival in March and as part of our Covid recovery programme, we’re delighted to have secured funding from Creative Scotland to deliver an ambitious second music festival in partnership with CHARTS, this time at our Corran halls venue.

The festival will have a seasonal theme and aims to maintain engagement with our audiences throughout Argyll and Bute using the digital platform myplayer, as well as providing a unique showcasing opportunity for young local musicians and a career development opportunity for videographers and technicians working alongside talented Glasgow producer Iain Maclean.

The project once again aims to highlight a vibrant and wide range of music and to offer incredible opportunities to musicians and young people under 30 who are interested in work experience as project technicians or videographers.

The deadline for applications is Wednesday November 24th at 12pm. Find out more or apply here.
