SUMMARY:Cycle Confidence sessions for Primary 1 pupils
DESCRIPTION:Cycle Confidence sessions for Primary 1 pupils\n\n\n\nWe are delighted to invite Primary 1 pupils to join us for our next set of cycle confidence sessions.  \n \nThese sessions are ideal for those who have been using balance bikes\, bikes with stabilisers\, or those who have never cycled.  \n \nThe sessions will focus on steering\, balance\, gliding\, stopping and braking. We will be using balance bikes for these sessions but some children may progress on to a pedal bike.  \n \nThese sessions are fully funded by Liveargyll Active Schools. There is no cost to participants.  \n \nPlease ensure your child wears appropriate clothing and footwear\, avoiding skirts\, wide bottomed trousers\, Crocs\, wellies or sandals etc. Trainers are ideal. Your child may also like to bring a drink of water. Please send them with any medication they may require for the duration of the session. Bikes and helmets will be provided.  \nPlease note that these sessions are for Primary 1 pupils currently attending school. We are unable to take nursery children\, or those who are in primary 2 upwards.  \n \nVenue: Dunoon Grammar School Games hall \nTime 17:00 – 18:00 \nDates: October 28th\, November 4th\, November 11th.   \n \nYou will be notified in the event that sessions have to be cancelled for any reason. \n \nPlease familiarise yourself with the behaviour and inclusion policies.
