Elf on the Shelf! 
Christmas is a hectic time for Santa, Mrs Claus and the Elves, but it’s particularly busy for LA (Ellay…see what we did there?), the Library Elf, who is always looking for new stories and adventures to share at Christmastime.
Our Library Elf is really excited to take part in our Christmas competition. Ellay, our mischevious elf, loves to hide among our library shelves and can’t wait to be found.
To enter, you must find our Library Elf among the books on the shelves or even the toys and games scattered around your local library.
Once you find our Elf take it to the library desk, where a member of our library team will take your name and contact details, including your email address, and enter you into our prize draw for a chance to win a Kindle Fire. Runners-up prizes of £15, £10 and £5 book tokens are also up for grabs.

Winners will be drawn and notified on 19th December. Prizes will be sent directly by post. Please note that we cannot guarantee delivery of any prizes before Christmas due to the proposed industrial action by members of the CWU, announced by Royal Mail.
Ts&Cs – Entrants must be library members residing within Argyll and Bute. Only one entry per person. The promotion ends on 17th December, and the winners will be notified by email on 19th December. By entering, you agree that any photos of yourself (including children aged 0-17 years) taken by staff throughout the competition may be shared by liveArgyll on our social media pages.
