We are absolutely delighted to advise that Dunoon Library is open and browsing is no longer limited. Customers can spend as long as they wish browsing and also use seating provided including study areas. We are also offering a Click & Collect service.
Public Network computers are now in use with 1 hour time slots that can be booked by contacting us by phone, during opening hours. Please note that there will be 55 minutes allotted to computer screen time with 5 minutes allocated for cleaning at the end of each slot. Cleaning will be done by our library staff.

Bookbug sessions – Every Thursday at 11.30am and 14.00pm and now every Saturday at 2pm. All welcome!
There is a lift to the upper floor where there are:
- The library is situated on the first floor, lift available to all floors
- Space for wheelchairs or buggies/ prams
- Dedicated space for children
- Leisure reading and studying areas
- Local Studies collection with access to Census Records, Old Parochial Records and local newspapers on microfilm
- Ten computers are available for free public use
- Free Wi-Fi
- Online catalogue
