To help you get the most from your membership, we are offering you the chance to take part in our exclusive* 12 Week Challenge.

The 12-week challenge has been designed so our fitness instructors can guide and support you to achieve your fitness goals. We understand the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and how important it is to take time for yourself, which is why this challenge is personalised and tailored to your activity level, interests, goals and daily routine.

What’s included?

Facility induction

As part of your initial appointment you will be given a facility induction to help familiarise you with our services and equipment.

 

Personalised programme

At your first 1:1 session our qualified fitness professionals will put together a personalised 4-week fitness programme for you to follow.

Programmes may include workouts for the gym, swimming routines, fitness classes and activities that involve your hobbies. Additional swimming lessons or personal training sessions may also be offered if available at your facility.

Monthly one-to-ones

You will have your first 1:1 session with one of our fitness professionals to put together your 4-week programme.

You will then have a further 2 sessions over the course of the challenge to check-in and review your programme.

All included in the price of your membership.

Nutritional and fitness resources

Another perk of being part of the liveArgyll community is the amazing health and fitness resources we have to hand. Ask our fitness instructors how to access our additional resources and choose from a huge range of women’s and men’s health magazines, healthy recipe books, material on mental wellbeing, and so much more.

Nutritional guidance

Nutrition and health go together, so if you would like a little extra push during the challenge our instructors will be more than happy to discuss some hints, tips and advice and provide some additional support materials to help you achieve your goals.

When does the challenge start?

The challenge starts on Monday 10th January. You can join any time before 28th February and your 12 weeks will begin when you have your first 1:1 appointment with us.

What to expect

When you sign-up for the challenge we will arrange a first 1:1 meeting with you to discuss fitness goals, the type of exercise you enjoy and to make sure you’re aware of all the services available at liveArgyll facilities. A fitness instructor will then put together a personalised 4-week fitness programme for you to follow. A follow up 1:1 will be scheduled to check in and see how you’re getting on and to review your programme.

Programmes may include workouts for the gym, swimming routines, fitness classes and activities that involve your hobbies. Additional swimming lessons or personal training sessions may also be offered if available at your facility.

Do I have to be fit already?

No, your programme is tailored to you, your fitness level and your interests. No matter your starting point we are here to encourage you to exercise more and to help your get fitter and healthier.

Age and fitness level needn’t be a barrier – our instructors are trained to not only know the benefits of high intensity workouts but of gentle movement and slowly introducing your body and mind to routine exercise.

I'm not a member, can I still take part?

Our 12 week challenge is exclusive to liveArgyll leisure members only.

What happens after the challenge?

Looking for further guidance? Speak to our friendly fitness instructors and see what else they suggest. We want you to feel supported when you exercise in our facilities and to know there is always a familiar and friendly face there, happy to help and encourage when you need it.

We are currently scheduling some exciting bootcamps so keep your eyes peeled. And don’t forget we offer personal training at some of our facilities, so why not book a session to keep on track if this is available to you?
