Benefits of Group Exercise

At a liveArgyll fitness class, not only do you get to work out with a group of like-minded individuals, but you also get to learn from experienced trainers who can help you achieve your fitness goals.

Some benefits of group exercise include:

  1. Motivation: When you attend a class, you are surrounded by people who are all working towards the same goal, which can be incredibly motivating. Additionally, having a trainer to guide you and push you can help you stay on track and achieve better results.
  2. Variety: Whether you enjoy yoga, dance, circuits or strength training, there is a class for everyone. Mixing up your workout routine can help you avoid plateauing and keep your workouts exciting.
  3. Socialising: Classes are a great way to meet new people and make friends. You can bond over your shared love of fitness and encourage each other to push harder and achieve your goals.

Overall, fitness classes offer a wide range of benefits that can help you achieve your fitness goals and live a healthier, happier life. So why not give them a try and see for yourself?

Ian’s Story

I started attending fitness classes around 7 months ago and am still going strong!

My mental and physical health were in a really bad place. I got so low mentally that I needed to do something, so I started classes with the intention of getting the endorphin buzz for my mental health and improving my cardiovascular health.

My favourite classes are Boxfit, Indoor Cycling and Stretch and Flex, but to be honest, there isn’t a class I don’t enjoy and I feel I benefit from all of them, as the instructors keep the classes fun and challenging no matter what we do.

My health is the best it’s been for a very long time. My resting heart rate has dropped

drastically and my lungs have never sounded so good, according to my GP. Because of how well my health and fitness have come along and the amazing support from the instructors, I have started college studying Health and Fitness with the intention of becoming an instructor at some point in hopes of helping others achieve their goals and improving their health.

Thanks to the classes I have also started karate again after many years and intend to eventually work my way up to black belt whilst still also focussing on classes.
