Gymnastics
liveArgyll offers coached gymnastics for children covering three levels:
Mars
This beginner-level class will teach your child the basic skills that they will require for gymnastics such as coordination, rolling, jumping, and balance. The gymnasts will also get a chance to use all the different gymnastics apparatus and develop their confidence. They will also get a chance to develop their basic gymnastics skills such as forward/backward rolls, handstands, and cartwheels.
Saturn
In this intermediate class, the gymnasts will work on skills such as handstands, headstand, cartwheels, and round-offs. This class will also be an apparatus-based class practicing their vault work and jumps. The gymnasts will start to link different gymnastics skills together to make a basic gymnastics routine.
Neptune
In this class the gymnasts will further develop their basic gymnastics skills. They will be working on handstand forward rolls, bridge kick over, walkovers and flips. Gymnasts will focus on perfecting their basic skills as well as working on more advanced skills. In this class the gymnasts will get to work on the apparatus and start to develop more complex vaults and jumps. They will also get to work on individual routines as well as group routines.
