Bookbug is the Scottish Book Trust’s national Early Years programme. As a national charity, the Scottish Book Trust delivers the Bookbug programme locally by working in partnership with local library and education services, the health service and third-sector organisations. To support local delivery of the Bookbug programme, the Scottish Book Trust provides its partners with training, advice and Bookbug bags of books.
Find details and times of all liveArgyll Libraries’ Bookbug sessions, along with any additional planned Bookbug events below. We will also share regular Bookbug news from our friends at the Scottish Book Trust. Just remember to follow the liveArgyll Facebook page for regular Bookbug updates.

Bookbug Sessions at liveArgyll Libraries
All are welcome at our Bookbug sessions, where you can discover the benefits of sharing stories, songs and rhymes with your wee one/s.
Our sessions, which are tailored to those 0 – 5 years old, run throughout the year, including school holidays, when we encourage you to bring along all the family. Our libraries have fun games and toys available to keep older children entertained whilst you attend a session with your little one/s.
Please note that occasionally times may vary due to operational requirements. You can keep up-to-date with all of our Bookbug news by following us on social media here.
