Facility changes following government guidance

Further to the latest guidance from the Scottish Government, we will be making some changes to our facilities and booking system.

From Monday 9th August you will no longer need to book gym or swim sessions.

Bookings for fitness classes are not essential but recommended to guarantee your space. Members will still be able to book classes up to 7 days in advance by contacting the relevant facility by phone or email. Non members will be able to book up to 5 days in advance by phone only.

Soft play bookings will still need to be made in advance.

  • To book in Campbeltown email kintyrecentre@liveargyll.co.uk. More information and session times available here.
  • To book in Dunoon call 01369 800500. More information and session times available here.

Changes to Gym and Swim

There will be no time restrictions on gym sessions – turn up when you like, for as long as you like during opening hours.

Family swim pods will change to public swimming sessions – where you can access the pool whenever you like, for as long as you like, during this time. Lane swimming will remain in place but no longer needs to be booked. You can check out our updated swimming programmes for further details here:

Lockers, cubicles and showers can be used from Monday 9th August.

Health suites will reopen from Monday 16th August.

Continuing Safety Measures

Face coverings are still required when moving around all liveArgyll buildings.

Our enhanced cleaning will continue and self-cleaning and hand sanitising stations will remain in place. In some instances our one-way systems will also continue to be followed.

A test and trace system will remain in place with all facility visitors being required to sign in and out.

Your safety remains a priority to us and we look forward to welcoming you as we take this step towards resuming normal service.
