Fitness Suite and Gym

From 17th May Indoor fitness classes will re-commence. Online fitness classes will be delivered via the My Zone app for members.

Our fitness suite is fully equipped with Origin’s top of the range cardiovascular and weights exercise equipment. We are fortunate to have a Powerplate and this fantastic piece of equipment provides the ultimate experience in acceleration training. It offers a host of benefits ranging from improved blood circulation to increased muscle strength and range of motion.

All our bikes, treadmills and cross trainers have televisions and the ability to be connected to iPods so you can listen to your favourite songs or watch your favourite programmes while exercising. The fitness suite is very well lit with natural light and air conditioning.

Our Fitness Coordinator, Ellis Rutherford, and other REP’s qualified fitness instructors are on hand to assist and to give advice. Inductions and fitness programmes are available on request

Pool Parties

Fancy having a fun birthday party in the water? Hassle free night? Why not book a birthday party at Rothesay Leisure Centre. Birthday parties are held on a Friday evening 6.30pm – 8.00pm.

The party is in two parts: the water session lasts 45 minutes and then everyone can enjoy themselves in the spectating area for another 45 minutes. We can accommodate for up to 40 people at a party.

Please note
An adult must accompany children under 8 years of age in the water and there must be the following ratio of adults to children:

Swimming Pool

Our main swimming pool is a four lane 25 metres x 8.5 metres leisure pool.

The shallow end is 0.9 metres and the deep end is 1.2 metres. There is also a “beach area” pool joined on to the main pool. This starts off at the same level as the poolside are and gradually descends to join the shallow end.

The beach area is an ideal entrance to the pool for anyone not comfortable using the stairs provided at the deep and shallow ends.

Fun Sessions

During a fun session we unleash our funky floats, tyres and big bouncy balls into the pool. Families are welcome and any child under the age of eight must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
