liveArgyll’s Adult Community Learning Team are working together with liveArgyll Libraries to bring you an exciting new monthly writing competition.
Each month, we’ll provide a prompt to get you started. The prompt should be included in your entry, but where the story goes from there is entirely up to you.
Entries should be no more than 500 words, and can be in the form of a story, poem or article.
The 500 Words competition is open to ages 16+.
Members of our Community Learning Team will judge the entries, and occasionally, members of our Libraries’ Team and/or guests.
Winning stories will be published on our website roughly two weeks after the closing date.
A prize will be awarded to the author of the winning entry.
For more information, check out our terms and conditions.
